This website, www.shark-bar.com (the “Site”), is owned and operated by Shark Bar, LLC, a North Carolina Limited Liability Corporation. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Shark Bar” refer to Shark Bar and Kitchen, LLC. By accessing, browsing, visiting or otherwise using this Site, contacting us, and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service.”
Shark Bar values its customers and is committed to protecting any of your personal information that is exchanged with Shark Bar during your use of the Site or engagement in our Service. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets forth Shark Bar’s policy with respect to our collection of information including personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) from Site visitors and users of our Service. Shark Bar may collect Personal Data to carry out the Service. Personal Data, in the context of privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or together with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. When visiting our Site or using the Service, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you as further described below. Shark Bar may combine this Personal Data with information about you that we acquire from our joint marketing partners and/or from unrelated third parties.

This Site and our Service are not directed toward persons under the age of 18, and we request that persons under the age of 18 not provide Personal Data to us. TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We collect a variety of information about our customers and visitors to the Site. This personal data falls into these categories:
Identity Data includes title, first name, last name, username or similar identifier and an encrypted version of your login/password. If you interact with us through social media, this may include your social media username.
Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers. This may include information about other people. For example, if you order a product as a gift and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient's address.
Financial Data includes payment card details. We process payments for orders using Square payment processor. Credit card details are stored temporarily while your transaction is processed and deleted once the process is complete.
Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.
Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving direct marketing (primarily emails) from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature.

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
No Internet, email, or other electronic transmission is ever fully secure or error free, and no website and no security measures can fully eliminate security risks or the possibility of data breaches. Notwithstanding the possibility of such risks and breaches, Shark Bar has implemented reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access to Personal Data that we’ve collected and to prevent the loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of such information. To that end, Shark Bar follows all Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) requirements and implements additional generally accepted industry standards. When you enter Personal Data on our Site, the information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored with an AES256 encryption. Some browsers and firewalls do not permit communication through unsecure servers. In that case, you will be unable to connect to our server so you will not have to worry about mistakenly placing an order through an unsecured connection.
In the event of any unauthorized access to your Personal Data, we will make a commercially reasonable effort to notify you regarding the nature and extent of the breach, and we will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the breach.
USE OF THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
Occasionally, this Site and our emails may contain links to other websites. These third-party websites operate independently of Shark Bar and we cannot and do not control the content on those third-party websites. As such, and in accordance with Shark Bar’s Terms of Use, we have no responsibility or liability for the content or practices of any linked website. Third-party websites have separate and independent privacy and security policies. We strongly encourage you to review such policies at any third-party website that you visit.
Shark Bar uses Square/s payment processor to process payments made for products on the Site. When you place an order on the Site, Square stores your credit card data. This data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction, after which it is deleted. It is encrypted through the PCIDSS.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCIDSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCIDSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Square and its third-party service providers.

CHOICE/OPT-OUT
You can use the Site without providing any Personal Data. If you choose not to provide any Personal Data, you may not be able to use certain aspects of the Service. Please note that when you make an online purchase from us, we will continue to confirm your order status and shipment by email.
