Locally owned and operated, Shark Bar & Kitchen is located steps from the beach near the iconic Johnny Mercer Pier in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. We aim to provide Wrightsville Beach residents and visitors with a casual, yet sophisticated dining experience highlighting local and regional seafood and produce.

New for 2026, we are proud to announce the arrival of Red Cat Sushi, our new sushi bar located on our second floor. Open from 3pm daily, Red Cat highlights modern sushi classics with a Carolina twist, as well as in house creations by Chefs Louie and James. We also offer the best happy hour onthe beach, with half off sushi from 3-5 daily.

Classic menu highlights include: Premium Oysters on the Half Shell; Seafood Towers Tuna Poke; Wagyu Smash Burgers; Salads; Crab Cakes; Maine Lobster Rolls; Fish Tacos; Fried Chicken Sandwich, and more. Our full bar offers fine wines, premium tequilas, and bourbons, with an emphasis on our locally famous Margaritas.
